The show 90 Day Fiance works on bringing people from different parts of the world to their ‘lovers’ in the US. Since the audience loved it so much, TLC decided to create multiple spinoffs of the show, such as 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, Before The 90 Days, and more.
Over the years, all these shows have seen a long list of pairs come and go. Some of these couples have reached the marriage altar, and some haven’t. 90 Day Fiance: The Couples With The Most ‘Toxic’ Love
Looking at the 90 Day Fiance universe, we can say that we get the best of reality tv. There’s drama, romance, and just the right amount of ‘will-they-won’t-they’ tension. Even though the show wants love to win, that doesn’t necessarily happen. There have been highly toxic couples on the show over the years, and the list might begin with Gino and Jasmine.
The veteran 90 Day Fiance couple, Gino and Jasmine, are starring in the tenth season of the show and have done the same in two seasons of Before The 90 Days. The couple has been labeled as ‘the most toxic’ even by their castmates, which speaks volumes. The list of what is wrong in this relationship starts with Gino sending Jasmine’s nude photos to his ex. This happened when he traveled to Panama to meet Jasmine for the first time.
Jasmine has been no less. The Panamian native had still been in touch with her ex without Gino’s knowledge. She did tell Gino about it later, but then she went ahead and used his money to move into the same building as her ex. One might think that all of this would have deterred the couple from taking the relationship further. But surprise, surprise! They are still together.
Next on the list are Paul and Karine, whom the fans saw on Before the 90 Days, Happily Ever After? and 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. The highly controversial couple has two kids together. But a ‘happy family,’ they’re not. The show’s audience had seen Paul behave inappropriately around women way too many times. And finally, even his then ‘fiance’ Karine became tired of putting up with his behavior.
The controversial pair had lost their children’s custody. However, when they were recently spotted in Disneyland together, fans thought they were still a couple. Paul was quick to deny it, revealing that he had a girlfriend. Karine, as per him, was dating multiple men.
When we talk about ‘couples-gone-bad,’ how can we forget the former fan favorites, Angela and Michael? Though their progression to the ‘toxic’ levels was gradual. On 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, the audience saw Angela throw a cake at Michael, which was just the start. She then added trying to tear apart Michael’s car and flying to Nigeria without his knowledge in her list of wrong-doings.
Although the audience saw Angela as the ‘evil’ one of the pair, Michael was never clean as a whistle. He had admitted to cheating on her with an online fan, even though Angela had accused him of cheating a lot previously. And since she is no less, the 90 Day Fiance female admitted to crushing on her friend, Billy. But the ‘evil’ lady never acknowledged that it was wrong. The couple also starred in 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort, working through their relationship issues.
90 Day Fiance: The ‘Toxic’ List Is Never-Ending
If the above pairs seem like they are oh so bad for each other, then fear not because we have some more. Colt Johnson and Larissa Lima were together for less than a year but had a very ‘eventful’ relationship. The season 6, 90 Day Fiance star was so in love with Colt that she decided to move to Las Vegas to marry him. However, that illusion of happiness shattered quickly as Larissa started having issues with Colt’s mom – Debbie.
Their relationship got so bad that Larissa flushed her wedding ring down the toilet. She admitted it later. The police had arrested her as her Las Vegas ‘fiance’ had accused Larissa of domestic violence. Though the pair had returned on ‘Happily Ever After,’ it seemed things hadn’t worked out for them. Colt is now in a relationship with Vanessa Guerra. Where Larissa had once been worried about being deported, she is now still in Las Vegas and works on adult websites like OnlyFans and Unfiltrd.
The audience had always been suspicious when Mohamed Jbali had moved to the US to be with Danielle Mullins. The cause of suspicion: 26-year-old Mohamed claimed to be in love with Danielle, who was 15 years older than him. The cracks in the relationship started to deepen when Danielle confessed to lying to her ‘lover’ about her financial situation. Mohamed had also, on several occasions, said that he wasn’t attracted to Danielle.
The Tunisian native had asked for a divorce, which he got. The couple is now separated, and the audience were able to see Danielle on the 90 Day Fiance spinoff – The Single Life. Danielle had also made a bidder of her relationship with Mohamed and had thrown that at him.
